Hmm....this is a good idea. The removal of gruesome fatalities makes me think Boon will start focusing more on substance rather than the shock-value flash his previous MK titles are famous for.

The tentative roster is 22 characters. Not a mind boggling number, but not an insanely retarded one either ala Marvel vs. Capcom 2, so thats a good thing. More characters equals more balancing issues. So its nice to see a trimmed MK roster.

I'm a DC guy. Don't get me wrong, Marvel isn't bad, but I've always preferred DC. Now, a shit storm of shock is spreading around the internet as we speak. Fanboys are at war and there is perpetual arguing among both sides. Who would beat who and such. As an avid reader of the Batman comics, I can say for sure that the Dark Knight is the perfect fit for the game. If you're not ready and willing to take life, then you shouldn't be dicking around with the MK cast. I've seen Batman take life and I've seen him do it with no remorse.

Needless to say....this Mario Party just got interesting.
